Also attending was Serena Williams, who I love.  She is such a powerhouse, and as a tennis player, it has been so much fun watching her and her sister bring U.S. Tennis back.  But, and I say this with love, she is not the most feminine chick on the block.  YOu can dress her up, slap on some makeup, curl her hair, and still, girl looks like a dude.

Anne Hathaway’s beard, Raffaelo Follieri, was arrested by NYC police today for bouncing a $250,000 check. TMZ reports he’s still in the chokey for one misdemeanor count. He’s currently being booked. A source said his bank was not even close to covering the check.

Annie, pull a Salma Hayek and get a beard that actually has some money. It’s not hard. I’m sure Ryan Gaycrest is in the market for a beard of his own. The $250,000 check probably for something super douchey like a Maserati or a boat. I bet Raffaelo wears tons of Drakkar Noir too. He totally washes his briefs in it.

As gossip bloggers we like to have fun and tease people, and make fun of people.  However, sometimes we need to be serious, and remember those before us who sacrificed for us to have a better world.  40 years ago today, Martin Luther King, Jr. was murdered outside of his hotel in Memphis, Tennessee.  He died before I was born, but none the less, his words touch me.  Our world, my world, is better because of him, and for that I am thankful.  We all need to take a step back from the snark today, and remember Dr. King, and what he gave, and sacrificed for this country, the country that he loved so very much.

Today (Friday) would have been Heath Ledger’s 29th Birthday.  It is odd, it is still hard to believe he is gone.  Again kids, DON’T DO DRUGS!  Or, if you do them, just don’t mix them.  It seems Heath wasn’t even taking that much, it was just the mix that killed him.  Thinking of his poor little sweetie Matilda today.  RIP Heath, RIP.

Well, they did it.  Beyonce & Jay Z married this evening in Tribeca, NYC.  It was a relatively modest affair, with the ceremony taking place at Jay Z’s apartment.  I like these two together, and have a feeling that their marriage will last.  They have been dating 6 years…which is an eternity in the entertainment business.  Good luck to the happy couple!!!
